Mr Wilson Is My Friend

Let's talk about change - and the friendships that last through it

Every day after school, a young boy and his neighbour Mr Wilson walk Bob the dog to the park and run around until Bob is worn out. There is a gate between their two backyards, a garden they tend together, and a stamp collection full of stories. Mr Wilson is his friend.

Then one evening the boy overhears the word "moving," and everything he loves feels like it might slip away. Mr Wilson is going to the city to be closer to his family, and the hardest part is what it means for Bob.

A warm, honest picture book about the changes we don't choose, learning to think about someone else's happiness as well as our own, and discovering that friendship can carry on, even when it looks a little different.
