Surrounded by animals, wide open spaces, and the simple joys of country life, she finds inspiration in the everyday moments that help children learn, grow, and understand the world around them.

As a mother and grandmother, Fiona has seen how important honest conversations can be when children are facing new experiences or big emotions. Her stories are written to help families talk together about life's challenges in a gentle, reassuring, and age-appropriate way.

Fiona is the creator of the Let's Talk About… series, which explores topics such as worry, change, and growing older through warm, hopeful stories that encourage empathy, resilience, and kindness.

She also creates colouring books inspired by Australia's unique wildlife, landscapes, and country life, as well as imaginative colouring books filled with fun and fantasy for children and adults alike.

When she isn't writing or creating new books, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family, caring for animals, and appreciating the beauty of life on the farm.
